We left behind a year full of difficulties and nonetheless hope. The New Year will pass with new difficulties, struggle and hope. We know. As we leave the year, the incidents we experienced –detentions, tortures, bullets, pepper gas, pressured water in freezing weather, black and white photographs in which cuffed people were lined up near a wall- remind once again to us that there is not any boundary in human rights violations. We wish you a happy new year in which we will remind all that also human rights struggle has no boundaries and the struggle will overcome sooner or later. We say great humanity has hope and it won’t last.
